Let's face it: conflict forms a huge part of our day-to-day lives and it will always be present in all our professional and personal lives for as long as there are people there.
In the heat of the moment, when two parties are in conflict, the natural urge for the parties is to pay revenge or inflict the same pain on the other.
Most importantly, the individual parties want to be RIGHT and have the other see that they were wrong for whatever they did.
However, in trying to reach a point of resolution, the most important thing to note is that both parties must be willing to find a solution, even if it is at the expense of their desire to be right.
Meaning, both parties must be willing to be wrong for the benefit of getting to a solution,
Particularly because they think the goal or relationship is more important than their egos.
However, this is only possible if both parties are self-confident enough to understand that, whether "I'm right or wrong," it doesn't degrade my self-worth or value in any way.
Ultimately, ego is a sign of a lack of self-confidence.
Ergo, in order to be a master in conflict resolution, you need to have a high sense of self-confidence.
Whether that means achieving in business, reigniting your self-confidence, or discovering who you really are, TMP's virtual & live workshops & events, one-on-one coaching and training systems will help close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
